How do I start looking for work with WerkGenie?

Do I need a CV to get started?
No. You can describe your experience and preferences in your own words. Think about tasks you have done, skills you have learned and work you would enjoy. If you already have a CV, you can use it to jog your memory during the conversation.
Can I say that I want work in Paramaribo or somewhere else?
Yes. Tell us where you want to work and what hours suit you. If you are looking outside Paramaribo, make that preference clear too. The opportunities you can explore still depend on the roles on the platform and your profile.
Does signing up mean I have applied for a job?
No. Signing up starts your work profile; it is not an application to an employer. The example conversation does not show a real vacancy or a found match. For a possible opportunity, you review the role details and decide whether you are interested. Contact and interviews are arranged separately. A job or match is not guaranteed.
